"I have waited almost a year to write this review, to gie myself both time to be sure I felt the same and that my wording was correct in how I was made to feel last year vs me reviewing out of shock and anger when it happened. My opinion has not changed very much. I was otherwise happy with this office. This happened last year 2024: My 2024 experience with an employee named Edith was extremely disappointing. On my birthday, I received a call from her seemingly to wish me well. However, this gesture quickly turned into an uncomfortable and unwanted sales pitch for a new life insurance policy. It was clear the call was not a genuine wish but a calculated attempt to use a personal milestone for a business transaction. This felt like a gross misuse of my personal information and a complete lack of respect for me as a client. The experience was unprofessional, and it has significantly eroded my trust in the company's commitment to genuine customer care."

"Bonnie Burns is the best agent in the area , not just for Clayton, but including Raleigh and surrounding areas! I have been with State Farm Insurance since I moved to Clayton in 2006. I believe I have been using Bonnie Burns as an agent just as long. I can't say enough good things about Bonnie. She is immediately responsive to answer any questions or concerns whether you make a phone call or email. She will work with you to provide you with the most reasonably affordable policy. She is patient, kind and overall looks out for your best interest. I moved to Raleigh in 2020 and starting using my new husband's agent and it just was not a same. He did not call me back on multiple occasions, didn't provide the assistance I needed, and just didn't seem to care when I wanted to add items to protect my home insurance policy. So, I told my new husband we were dropping that agent and going back to Bonnie - even though she is in Clayton. I told her she can't retire -that is how much I enjoy her and her staff as our agent. LOL. If you are looking for new insurance company, State Farm is a great company. I had an electrical issue after a storm loosing multiple appliances in my home and State Farm and Bonnie were very easy to work with and they helped me through the entire process to replace my appliances with no stress. You will not be disappointed if you make the switch."
